The Yale Whiffenpoofs are coming back to Seattle this October, and there will be two opportunities for the Yale community to catch them live in concert!
In addition to these performances, the Whiffs are also looking for a few generous alums who may be interested in hosting a meal for the group while they’re in town. As a 501(c)(3) student-run organization, all contributions are tax-deductible and go directly toward supporting their world tour and travel accommodations. They’d love the chance to connect with alums, family, and friends while in the area!
Since their founding in 1909, the Whiffenpoofs have brought their diverse repertoire of vocal jazz, folk, pop, and Broadway hits to more than two hundred audiences each year across all 6 inhabited continents. In past years, the ‘Whiffs’ have sung for Presidents Obama, Bush (41 and 43), Clinton, and Reagan, and at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. They've even been featured on television shows such as “The Sing Off,” “The West Wing,” and “Glee.”
